About the Center for Quick Response Manufacturing
The Center for Quick Response Manufacturing, established in 1993 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is a collaborative partnership between the university and industry. Our mission is to champion the principles of Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) and help organizations transition from theoretical concepts to solutions that improve performance and reduce lead times.
At its core, the Center exists to provide rigorous, applied education and training in QRM principles. We offer learning experiences in a variety of formats to meet the needs of today’s manufacturers, including virtual sessions, in-person workshops, on-site training at company locations, and custom programs tailored to specific operational challenges. Our goal is to equip individuals and teams with the knowledge, tools, and skills needed to implement QRM strategies and reduce lead times across their operations.
Over the years, many companies have applied QRM principles to improve their operations. A select group of organizations, representing a range of industries, sizes, and locations, have taken the next step as contributing partners. By joining the Center for Quick Response Manufacturing, your company can gain access to exclusive tools, insights, and a collaborative network to stay at the forefront of manufacturing innovation. Membership offers competitiveness in a rapidly evolving industry.
