Fundamentals of Railroad Bridge Inspection

Acquire comprehensive knowledge of inspector responsibilities, regulatory compliance (FRA 214 and FRA 237), and various types of inspections, with a focus on periodic inspections. Learn to inspect timber, steel, concrete, moveable bridges, and culverts effectively. Enhance your skills in report writing and ensure your activities meet industry standards.

NOTE:  The third day of this course is a field trip to three bridge structures.  ONLY in-person attendees are included in the third day.  Please bring PPE (i.e. a hard hat, vest, and eye protection) for the field trip.  If you don't have your own some will be supplied.  Transportation for the field trip is included and will conclude at 12:00 PM.
