Course Overview

Learn about the National Electrical Code® (NEC) from a nationally known NEC expert, author, and speaker.

The National Electrical Code® is the "benchmark for safe electrical design, installation, and inspection to protect consumers and property from electrical hazards," according to the National Fire Protection Association. This course is organized to help you design, install, or inspect more efficiently by applying the National Electrical Code to your daily work. Upon completion of the course, you will be able to design electrical systems that are code compliant and be aware of the liabilities associated with noncompliance.

This course also discusses how the NEC is organized, changes from previous editions, requirements for new and existing installations, "how-to-design" information for electrical systems, and valuable information on how the NEC relates to other standards.

Who Should Attend?

  • Electricians
  • Technicians
  • Inspectors
  • Engineers
  • Designers
  • Supervisors
  • Safety personnel
  • Consultants and contractors

Additional Information

The ONLINE/ZOOM offering of this course in November will be based on the latest revision of the NEC. The ONLINE course will likely NOT be approved for Electrical Trade credit in Wisconsin as we will use code references from the latest revision fo the code.
