The SMRP (Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals) created the CMRT Body of Knowledge as a guide for maintenance technicians to be proficient in their careers. The CMRT BoK is broken up into four (4) domains: Maintenance Practices, Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Analysis, and Corrective Maintenance. In this course, you will learn the key elements of a holistic maintenance strategy, which can lead your maintenance organization into becoming more proactive and less reactive. You will learn the steps to effectively implement and sustain the strategy and how to sell the strategy to top management.

In this course, you will learn about specific facility grounding problems and their consequences, such as fires, electrocutions, and equipment damage. We'll discuss grounding problems experienced on systems 1000V or less and how to avoid them. You'll build a firm foundation of knowledge about grounding and bonding to help you successfully complete your next project.

This essential course is your opportunity to focus in depth on the rules and provisions of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC®). During four days of intensive, interactive discussion and team exercises, you will learn the organization and the application of the NESC® code. You will also learn how to integrate code and regulatory requirements into standard design and operating practices.

We'll introduce you to underground components and walk you through the principles of planning, policy, design, construction, cost, and cable testing. You'll work through class exercises in policy, design, system layout, and fuse/protective device coordination. We'll also review operations considerations and NESC safety requirements.

This fundamental course will give you the tools and skills to better understand how to successfully complete a substation capital project design from start to finish.

This course will help you understand the benefits of ammonia through an exploration and comparison of other refrigerants, thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and related equipment.
