Course Overview

In this detailed hands-on course you will learn when to use simulation modeling, how models are developed and applied and what it takes to conduct a successful project. Digital Twins will be discussed in detail and you’ll develop your own simulation models using the free educational version of a commercial application.

Additional Information

Laptop Computer Required

You will be developing several simulation models on your own computer in class and one evening for homework. This will require the installation of a free simulation modeling software package, so ensure you have admin rights or have your IT department do the installation for you.

You will be developing several simulation models on your own with the help of the instructor. The exercises will be selected and tailored to best meet the needs of the attendees in each specific class.

Rainer Dronzek

Rainer Dronzek has held engineering and management positions in the aerospace, oil & gas, software and consulting industries. He began his analytics career on the Space Shuttle Program at the Kennedy Space Center, where he was first introduced to the art and science of simulation modeling. He has managed projects and standing teams providing modeling services, founded a simulation consulting firm, and organized simulation events and conferences. He is the Managing Consultant of Simulation Modeling Services and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University.
