Interdisciplinary Professional Programs (InterPro) is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Ahmad Khan as a Program Director, where he will lead and teach new offerings in battery technology, power electronics, and electrification.
Dr. Khan brings a wealth of industry experience from his consulting work in the automotive and aerospace sectors, where he advised clients on advanced energy systems. He previously served in the Advanced Innovation Unit at BorgWarner, where he focused on battery technologies, and held engineering roles at GKN, FCA, and Mercedes-Benz R&D.
An accomplished educator, Dr. Khan has taught university-level courses in EV technology, electric motors, battery management systems, and electronics, and he holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Oakland University with a focus on control theory and energy storage.
