Dave Sandells

Dave Sandells received his MEng in Electronic Engineering and his PhD in Power Electronics from Imperial College London, his MBA from Durham University and his PGCE from Bath University.

In his career Dave has worked for a number of well-respected UK Engineering companies including Dyson, Williams Formula 1 and Sevcon. Most recently he has held the position of CTO at Hyperdrive, a successful engineering business that designs and manufactures battery solutions for electric vehicles.

Dave holds knowledge and experience in all aspects of electrified powertrains; batteries, power electronics and machines. He is particularly interested in realising the benefits associated with combining these traditionally discrete components into unified solutions.
