The UW-Madison online Master of Science in Engineering Management (MEM) program is proud to announce the first recipient of the Wayne Pferdehirt Memorial Scholarship is Ryan Gitzke! Ryan was selected because he exemplifies Wayne’s commitment to community service and mentoring.
This scholarship was established in honor of Wayne Pferdehirt, a long-time MEM faculty associate and program director who helped shape online degrees at UW-Madison. It recognizes students who embody traits that align with Wayne’s spirit: a passion for academic excellence, community service, and a strong commitment to mentorship.
