Opportunities in Electrified Powertrains

May 12, 2020

There is a big gap in energy consumption per mile between the best-in-class electrified powertrains and the rest. In this TechTalk@UWEPD, Sudhi Uppuluri highlights some of the areas where these differences lie—from controls to thermal management and route selection. Paying attention to these details will help electrified powertrains unlock their full potential for real world GHG emission reduction. Visit EPD’s online master’s degree page to learn more about the Master of Engineering: Engine Systems (MEES) program.
