New course developed for students who may prefer an online format for their professional development training in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) design and applications.  Topics are edited and collated from existing in-person courses within InterPro, including Fundamentals of HVAC, HVAC Design and Analysis, HVAC Applications, Energy Code Training, and Data Center Mechanical and Electrical Design and Operation. Students will learn about the equipment and components used in HVAC and refrigeration systems along with the role that HVAC plays to maintain comfortable, safe, healthy and code-compliant conditions in the indoor environment of commercial buildings.  Two facility types that are described in detail during the course (Healthcare and Data Centers) are rapidly gaining in popularity and both have notably high energy requirements with opportunities for conservation.
