We hope to have the opportunity to hold the course again in the fall of 2024 and February of 2025.  This in-depth course will provide you with the latest criteria and practical techniques used in the design of transmission line structures and foundations. You will gain a solid understanding of line behavior that will allow you to design new transmission lines and upgrade existing ones. Emphasis will be on the fundamental, physics-based analysis and design concepts used in the civil/structural design of transmission structures and foundations. Expert instructors will elaborate on foundation and line design concepts with design examples using traditional design methods and modern computer software.

Operation and maintenance of water storage tanks can significantly impact fire protection, water quality, service delivery, and maintenance costs. Rehabilitation costs for existing tanks sometimes exceed original construction costs, so it is important to select operation, maintenance, inspection, and repair procedures that will minimize the life cycle costs of your tanks. In this course, you will learn how to properly and cost-effectively operate, maintain, and rehabilitate steel and concrete elevated tanks, ground storage tanks, and standpipes.
